Terms & Conditions
Terms for using Motel Mojo.
These Terms govern access to the Motel Mojo website, motel management platform, and public booking pages operated by ALO Digital Philippines, Inc.
Effective August 20, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and ALO Digital Philippines, Inc. ("ALO Digital," "Motel Mojo," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Motel Mojo's websites, applications, public booking pages, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use the Services for a company, motel, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and "you" includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Who may use the Services
You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Operator users must be at least 18 years old and authorized by the relevant organization. A guest making a booking must be at least 18 years old or meet any higher eligibility requirement stated by the motel operator. Government-issued photo identification may be required at check-in.
3. What Motel Mojo provides
Motel Mojo provides software for motel operations, including room and package setup, availability, reservations, public booking pages, check-in and checkout workflows, housekeeping, payment records, guest management, communications, reports, and related features.
ALO Digital provides the technology platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not own, operate, manage, inspect, or control the motels listed through the Services. Each motel operator is independently responsible for its property, staff, guests, rates, availability, licenses, safety, accessibility, taxes, services, and compliance with law.
4. Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, devices, confirmation codes, and account activity.
- Accounts and access rights may not be shared, sold, or transferred without authorization.
- Operator administrators are responsible for inviting users, assigning appropriate permissions, removing former staff, and supervising activity in their organization.
- You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access or a security incident.
We may rely on instructions submitted through an authenticated account. You are responsible for actions by people you authorize to use the Services.
5. Operator responsibilities
Motel operators using the Services must:
- Maintain accurate room inventory, rates, package details, operating hours, booking rules, taxes, fees, contact information, payment instructions, refund policies, and house rules.
- Honor valid reservations and representations made through their public booking pages, subject to disclosed policies and applicable law.
- Provide safe, lawful accommodations and hold all licenses, permits, registrations, and insurance required for their business.
- Use guest and staff information lawfully, provide required privacy notices, honor data rights, and configure retention and access appropriately.
- Obtain any consent required before enabling advertising pixels, marketing communications, or other non-essential tracking.
- Manage chargebacks, refunds, guest disputes, identity checks, incidents, and on-premises conduct.
- Ensure that submitted content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe another person's rights.
6. Guest reservations
When a guest books a motel through a public booking page, the accommodation agreement is directly between the guest and the identified motel operator. The operator's displayed payment, cancellation, refund, check-in, age, identification, occupancy, and house policies form part of that agreement.
Guests must provide accurate booking information, review all operator policies before confirming, protect their confirmation code, arrive within the stated check-in window, and comply with lawful property rules. A motel may refuse check-in or cancel a reservation where permitted by its disclosed policies or law, including when age or identification requirements are not met.
Availability is calculated using information maintained in the Services, but operational changes, connectivity issues, incorrect inventory, maintenance, or other events may occasionally affect a booking. The motel operator is responsible for resolving accommodation issues with the guest. Motel Mojo may assist but is not the accommodation provider or a party to that contract.
7. Fees, subscriptions, and taxes
Operator subscriptions, onboarding charges, transaction fees, marketing services, and other paid services are governed by the order form, proposal, checkout, or written agreement accepted by the operator. Unless stated otherwise, fees are in Philippine Pesos, exclusive of applicable taxes, and non-refundable once due.
Operators authorize us and our payment providers to charge agreed amounts using the selected payment method. Late or failed payments may result in restricted access or suspension. We may change prices prospectively by giving reasonable notice; changes do not alter fees already due.
8. Guest payments, cancellations, and refunds
Payment options and timing vary by motel. Payments may be collected by the motel, by a third-party payment provider, or through platform-enabled checkout. Payment providers may apply their own terms, verification, limits, and processing times.
The motel operator sets and administers its cancellation, no-show, refund, deposit, incidental, and damage policies, subject to applicable law. Guests should direct booking-specific requests to the motel using the contact information on the booking page or confirmation. Platform or payment processing fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law and disclosed before purchase.
9. Acceptable use
You may not, and may not help another person to:
- Use the Services unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or to facilitate exploitation, trafficking, harassment, discrimination, or harm.
- Submit false bookings, impersonate another person, use stolen payment credentials, manipulate availability, or evade fees.
- Access data, accounts, branches, systems, or features without authorization.
- Probe, scan, disrupt, overload, introduce malicious code into, or defeat security or access controls of the Services.
- Scrape, copy, frame, resell, reverse engineer, decompile, or derive source code from the Services except where law expressly permits and cannot be waived.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content, or content containing unnecessary sensitive information.
- Use the Services to send spam or communications without required consent.
- Use platform output to build or train a competing product without our written permission.
10. Content and intellectual property
The Services, including software, designs, text, graphics, logos, interfaces, and documentation, are owned by ALO Digital or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services for their intended purpose during the applicable service term.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant ALO Digital a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services and meet legal obligations. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit the content.
If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
11. Privacy and data
Our Privacy Policy explains how ALO Digital handles personal information. Operators are responsible for the lawfulness of personal information they submit or direct us to process and for responding to guest requests concerning operator-controlled data. Additional data-processing terms may apply under an operator agreement.
We may create and use aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual or operator to operate, analyze, secure, and improve the Services.
12. Third-party services
The Services may depend on or link to third-party authentication, payment, communications, scheduling, maps, storage, analytics, advertising, or other services. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of them may be governed by separate terms.
13. Service changes and availability
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the Services, address security or legal requirements, or reflect business needs. We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, internet failures, provider outages, emergencies, or events beyond reasonable control may cause interruptions.
Operators are responsible for reasonable business-continuity procedures, staff training, and verifying critical booking, payment, and room-status information when service is disrupted.
14. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, create security or legal risk, misuse the Services, or if required by law. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Operator cancellation and data export or deletion are subject to the applicable commercial agreement, unpaid obligations, lawful retention, and reasonable technical periods. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms.
15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." ALO Digital disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant the quality, safety, legality, cleanliness, availability, or suitability of any motel, accommodation, operator, guest, or third-party service. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALO Digital and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss; loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity; or the conduct of a motel operator, guest, payment provider, or other third party.
For claims arising from an operator's paid use of the Services, ALO Digital's aggregate liability will not exceed the fees paid or payable by that operator to ALO Digital for the Services giving rise to the claim during the six months before the event. For free website or guest use, aggregate liability will not exceed PHP 5,000. These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, an operator will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ALO Digital and its personnel from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from the operator's property or services, submitted content, breach of these Terms, violation of law, misuse of personal information, or acts or omissions of its staff. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from ALO Digital's own breach, negligence, or willful misconduct.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise, courts with jurisdiction in Taguig City, Philippines will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services.
19. General terms
If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of business. These Terms, together with any applicable order form or written service agreement, constitute the agreement concerning the Services. A negotiated written agreement controls if it expressly conflicts with these Terms.
20. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms prospectively. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date, and may provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
